The Akwa Marina Yacht Club is currently constructing its new Beach Bar & Grill, with the grand opening scheduled for spring 2013.  The large, open-air gazebo has an impressive post and beam design, glass railings, and mahogany decking.

The beautifully appointed Bar & Grill will offer table service with seating around the perimeter, where you can enjoy spectacular views and satisfy your craving for a juicy burger or PEI mussels.  This nautical themed eatery will be outfitted with components salvaged from a 1904 yacht, the Anona, including the deck, riggings and mast.  The Anona will be the centerpiece of the gazebo, serving as the bar, with beer on tap and mixed drinks for your many moods.  This summer, stop by the Beach Bar & Grill to unwind or wind up for more fun!  You can follow the construction of the Bar & Grill on Facebook!
