Let’s Talk About Summer
Summers at Meredith Bay just keep getting better! We made the most of the warm weather with outdoor movies, pool time, exercise, lots of ice cream and s’mores, and, of course, gorgeous lake views. Check out what we were up to the last few months!
POOLSIDE EVENTS FOR ALL
We partnered with FunFlicks Outdoor Movies to host two Dive-In Movie Nights at the Pool Pavilion on Skipper’s Court! The kids got to watch Brave and Inside Out on a 9×12-ft inflatable screen, all from the comfort of their pool floaties. Movie night wouldn’t have been complete without snacks, so we had plenty of popcorn to go around.
We also hosted three poolside Happy Hours with delicious hors d’oeuvres from Annie’s Café and Catering and drinks for both kids and adults! We loved seeing our residents catch up and meet the newest members of our community.
Our on-site Fitness Center is always available for an amazing workout, but we couldn’t help taking our weekly fitness classes outside to make the most of the warm weather. Classes included Pickleball sessions, poolside yoga with Melissa Knott, and tennis lessons with Dr. Robert Rondstat.
These resident-only classes offered a unique way for residents to mingle with their neighbors while receiving individualized attention from instructors to achieve all their summer fitness goals.
Residents also enjoyed scenic strolls through our community-wide network of walking trails! With exercise stations and seven different paths to choose from, our trails offer a great way to enjoy nature while getting in a good workout. Check out our Trail Map here.
SUMMER OF SWEETS
This summer was full of indulgent sweets! We teamed up with Jordan’s Ice Cream, Best of New Hampshire 2018 Winner, for two Ice Cream Socials at the Pool Pavilion. Kids had a blast at the pool and enjoyed delicious ice cream, complete with their favorite toppings. We also hosted a relaxing fireside evening at The Love Shack with assorted chocolates and crackers that made for some very delicious s’mores!
THE BEST VIEWS
We’re going to miss these beautiful summer views – until next year! Now, it’s time to look forward to New Hampshire’s beautiful fall foliage.
