35th Annual Latchkey Cup | January 26

On your mark, get set… GO to Moultonborough to support the 35th Annual Latchkey Cup! The Latchey Cup has raised over $266,000 to Friends of The Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the local community.

10th Annual Pond Hockey Classic | February 1-3

Teams are flying in from all over North America for the 10th Annual New England Pond Hockey Classic, one of the most sought-after Pond Hockey Tournaments in the country! Are you ready for the puck to drop? You don’t want to miss this tournament on Lake Winnipesaukee.

40th Meredith Rotary Ice Fishing Derby |  February 9 & 10

This popular derby draws in anglers from throughout the state, all hoping to catch a winner that could award them the first prize of $15,000! Don’t want to fish? You can still win big prizes! Derby ticket cash prize drawings will also be held on Saturday and Sunday, including two Rotary Derby Ticket “Grand Cash Drawings” for $5,000.

90th World Championship Sled Dog Derby | February 15-17

This beloved event draws spectators from throughout the region and features mushers and teams from the U.S. and Canada who flock to the area to participate in a variety of race classes. You are welcome to walk among the mushers and their dogs, but if you’re looking to view the race in action, head to the spectator venue, Laconia Country Club on Elm Street!

16th Annual Harvest & Winter Carnival | February 16

Always wanted to try harvesting ice blocks from a pond? Then this is the event for you! Visit the Remick Country Doctor Museum and Farm for an event that’s all about winter activities. With games and demonstrations, live music, rides on an antique snowmobile, a bob house display, and farm animals, you’ll want to make this event an annual family tradition!

Annual Chili and Beer Tasting Fundraiser | February 16

Local catering companies and breweries will be offering chili and beer tastings at this delicious event! Proceeds from the event will be applied towards Castle in the Clouds’ 2019 restoration projects, including restoration of the sun parlor and the exterior of the Castle’s north tower.

Tamworth Sled & Skijor Race | March 2 & 3

The Tamworth Sled Dog Race is one of the longest running sprint races in the world. Competitors race across Lake Chocorua and below Mt. Chocorua. Come watch the teams, talk to drivers, and see the all the action at the most scenic race in the East!
