Building a Dream Home on Homesite 47
Construction doesn’t stop at Meredith Bay — we’ve started building a new Kinneho model on Homesite 47!
CURRENT CONSTRUCTION STAGE:
FOUNDATION POUR
JANUARY 22, 2021
Here’s what happened during this stage of the home building process:
We poured the foundation walls and removed the forms.
Once the walls were ready, we placed the drainage and backfill around the foundation.
The crushed stone was spread out on the lower level awaiting the final pour of the concrete floor.
LOT CLEARING
DECEMBER 10, 2020
Each piece of land is different. Variations in homesites are usually discovered beneath the surface in the form of a ledge. Homesite 47 sat atop one big rock!
Below you can see the “blasting blankets” covering the area to break the stone for removal. The blankets are made from old tires and ensure that the debris from the blast will not become airborne!
