A FUN-FILLED FALL

It’s an indisputable fact: Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons in New Hampshire (it’s at least in the top 3…), and, thanks to the residents at Meredith Bay, this year’s season was also one of the most fun.  From making our very own apple cider to lake-view yoga and meditation, there was something for everyone. Read on to learn more.

And don’t forget: Meredith Bay sometimes invites non-residents to join in on the fun, so if you’d like to experience one of our community events for yourself, fill out the form below, and we’ll let you know when our next event is coming up!

THE BIG SQUEEZE

We kicked off the fall season with our 4th Annual Apple Cider event! Our residents enjoyed a fall-inspired menu created by local favorite Annie’s Café and Catering that included brats, warm pretzels, and delicious chocolate cupcakes. If that wasn’t sweet enough, our younger attendees explored their creative side by painting and decorating pumpkins. They even helped out the adults by loading apples into the press! Over ten bushels of apples were pressed and yielded dozens of quarts of fresh-pressed Meredith Bay apple cider.

CLEAR LAKE, CLEAR MIND.

In October, our residents took a step back to clear their minds, find their center, and enjoy the beauty of the season at our Mindfulness and Meditation event. Featuring Stacey Gibbons, renowned Yoga and wellness instructor for Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and The Omega Institute, the event started with a Forrest Yoga and Yoga Nidra class overlooking the glistening waters of Lake Winnipesaukee. Stacey then offered a meditative perspective on how to enjoy our community walking trails. More focused and refreshed, our novice yogis ended the event with light lunch and refreshments, including our very own hand-pressed Apple Cider, up by the Sugar Shack!

FIRST SNOWFALL OF THE SEASON

But it looks like fall is almost behind us — we had our first snowfall of the season this week. Get those winter coats ready, it’ll be time to hit the slopes soon!
