New Lake Home on Homesite 4
The next lake home in our From the Ground Up series is our Kinneho model on Homesite 4!
CURRENT CONSTRUCTION STAGE:
FOUNDATION POUR
OCTOBER 21, 2020
This beautiful lake home is currently in the foundation pour stage. Here’s what happens during this stage!
The foundation hole is dug using the pinpoints set by the surveyor.
Secondly, the water and sewer lines need to be brought to the area and fed up through what will become the floor of the foundation.
The forms for the foundation walls are brought in and set into place before the actual pour of the concrete.
UP NEXT: Once the concrete has time to set, the walls are removed and the foundation is “backfilled” with soil.
LOT CLEARING
OCTOBER 15, 2020
Many things must be taken into consideration when clearing a site for a build, we really need to think about how the home will sit on the homesite. For example: Where will the driveway be? What is the size and scope of the foundation? And so much more.
During this stage trees are removed, the stumps cleared, and a rough driveway is put in to give access to the upcoming work.
