This is the first time we’ve built this home style at Meredith Bay and it can be altered to fit to a one-level home.

The carpenters are standing on what will be the future master bedroom or great room! Soon, all the walls will be built, and we’ll really get to see the beautiful views this home will have.
NEXT STEP: We’ll be putting the roof on in 3 weeks!
FOUNDATION BACKFILL
NOVEMBER 16, 2020
A lot goes into the foundation backfill stage of a home — here’s all that has happened since our last update!
We coated the foundation exterior with waterproofing.
The perimeter foundation drains with pipe, stone, and fabric were installed.
We installed the water and sewer lines.
Electrical, cable, and telephone conduits were installed.
Final step: the foundation was backfilled!
FOUNDATION POUR
OCTOBER 21, 2020
The foundation pouring process has begun on Homesite 36! Below, you’ll be able to see the floor of the foundation and our construction workers installing the water and sewer lines. Plus, the foundation pour where you’ll see the pump truck’s extensive “arm” reach over the hillside into the foundation forms!
Once the foundation floor has been poured and utilities set up for service, the side walls are put into place before securing with concrete.

This homesite didn’t have many trees so we only had to do minimal clearing. We’re excited to see our first Hawk’s Nest model come to life!
